Minecraft on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PS Vita has just received a brand-new patch across all platforms, not to mention the new Greek Mythology Mash-up DLC pack. Fans can now download Title Update 27 on Xbox 360, Content Update 15 on Xbox One, and patch 1.18 on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, alongside the DLC.
Minecraft may have started out life on PC, but it became a best seller across many different platforms thanks to the efforts of 4J Studios, the developer that brought Mojang's original work onto the home devices.
The studio has been working quite hard on releasing different updates and patches for the console versions of the game, not to mention fresh DLC packs that brought new skins, textures, objects, and much more imaginative experience.
An all-new update and a fresh DLC are live right now
Now, the studio confirms that a novel update is available across the many different console versions of Minecraft.
Xbox 360 users can download Title Update 27 for their edition of the game, while Xbox One users can score Content Update 15 for their platform. PS4, PS3, and PS Vita users are able to download, worldwide, patch 1.18 for Minecraft on their respective devices.
The actual patch includes all sorts of new goodies, such as Acacia variants for wood, planks, fences, doors, stairs, and more in the Creative menu. There are also Dark Oak variants for many of these objects.
However, the update mostly focuses on bug fixes for a wide array of issues spotted by users after applying the lasts major update. From stacking doors, to wolves not taking damage properly, and so on.
At the same time, a new Greek Mythology Mash-up DLC Pack is also available as a premium download across all platforms, bringing 39 skins, a custom texture set, special music, and a new user interface. You can play as Zeus, Poseidon, and an array of monsters, from a cyclops to many others.
You can check out changelogs for each version of the patch below, as well as some screenshots from the Greek Mythology DLC for Minecraft, via the official website.
