Super Mario Maker is now really close to release and Nintendo has been promoting the game heavily, releasing new gameplay videos almost daily. With the amount of material on the game released until now, players now have a clear idea on how the game will work, with some finally deciding to pre-order the game.
If you have already pre-ordered the game on the US Wii U eShop or will do so in the next few hours, you will be happy to know that Super Mario Maker can now be pre-loaded. The game requires around 1.5 GB according to a few reports so make sure to have enough storage space before downloading the game.
Yesterday some new details on Super Mario Maker have emerged online. According to Nintendo, not all of Super Mario Maker content is going to be available at the beginning of the game, as the tools will become available gradually over the course of 9 days, granted that the game is played for at least 5 minutes each day.
New Super Mario Maker gameplay footage has emerged online last week. The new footage showcased some really difficult stages created with the game’s tools that have been showed during the Super Mario 30th Anniversary Special Stage in Niconico Chokaigi 2015. Shigeru Miyamoto also makes an appearance in the video.
Just like several recent Nintendo published titles, Super Mario Maker is going to be compatible with almost all amiibo figures. The game will include several costumes that can be unlocked with the corresponding figure or event without it by just playing the game. According to the Super Mario Maker official Japanese website, Super Mario Maker is going to be compatible with pretty much all revealed amiibo figures with the exception of the Mii Fighters ones.
