Mozilla rolled out Firefox 40 this week with full support for Windows 10, and now the company has prepared an exclusive release for Windows users too.
Version 40.0.1 of its browser is now available for download for PCs powered by Windows, so if you are already running Firefox 40, make sure you get this new one too.
In case you're wondering what's new in this build, there's nothing too important or critical for the performance of the app, but according to Mozilla, it's still worth to update.
“40.0.1 has been released in order for Windows users to see 'What's New' page. Updates are served for Windows only,” the company has said in a very short change log released this morning.
Firefox is currently one of the top browsers on Windows, and thanks to its full support for Windows 10, users finally have more options to choose from when it comes to the app they turn to in order to browse the web on devices running Microsoft's latest system.
And yet, changing the default browser in Windows 10 might be a little bit difficult because of the changes that Microsoft made, so to do that, open Settings, go to System and click on Default apps to set Firefox as your preferred choice.
