Media Molecule, the makers of LittleBigPlanet and Teeraway, is celebrating its 10th anniversary by releasing the "Marvelous Media Molecule Time Machine."
The time machine follows the team from before Media Molecule's founding on January 4, 2006, to the release of Tearaway Unfolded, which launched on September 11, 2015. The post on PlayStation's blog teases more announcements coming soon, as the company will continue to celebrate its 10th year for the next 12 months.
The timeline remembers Sackboy's humble beginning as Mr. Yellowhead. Back in December of 2005, Media Molecule pitched Mr. Yellowhead to PlayStation. According to the timeline, Mr. Yellowhead was a "crude physics driven platforming game ... featuring a character with a yellow head, whose destiny was to become Sackboy."
The company went on to announce LittleBigPlanet on March 7, 2007 at the Game Developer's Conference. Speeding up to 2015, Media Molecule announced its newest project, Dreams, at Sony's E3 2015 press conference. Beta for Dreams will start in 2016.
Media Molecule leaves us with thanks: "We couldnít have got this far without all the endless love and support from our wonderful community; we really do have the best fans in the world."
